It was around this time last year that Callan Alexander, the 19 year-old producer behind cln, blew the world away with ‘Better Than,’ the first single from his debut EP Sideways, and he has returned this week to do it all again with the first single from his next EP, Found.
The track is called ‘Hold Me’ and sees cln taking his sound to a whole new level of sophistication and style, as he draws deep on his emotions to deliver a stunning new production of chilled, future-beat bliss – and as you’re about to find out, the young man sure can sing as well.
cln has been known for creating some spectacular remixes for the likes of Crooked Colours, Kilter, Wookie and ODESZA, as well as the most recent for Australian songstress Katie Noonan, which got the attention and a retweet by global sensation, Sia.
cln will be hitting the road in 2015 for his first ever national tour, before heading off to the USA for a small run of North American shows toward the end of the year.
We can expect a few more new singles from cln over the coming months in the lead-up to his second EP Found, which is due for a release in June 2015. For now you can get a free download of ‘Hold Me’ from cln’s Soundcloud page, but only for a limited time.
