Oh shit, I am all over this one.
It’s the brand new single from Portuguese producer Andre Allen Anjos, aka RAC (and for those that don’t know it is pronounced Ar-Ay-Cee), it’s appropriately called ‘This Song’, it features the smooth lo-fi voice of former Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij, and it’s doing everything to me that a song should be doing.
This Song (ha, see what I did there) is full of warm, synthy, disco/tropical/dance rhythms that conjures up some of the feelings I felt when I first listened to Roosevelt’s self-titled album last year, and if RAC has more like this up his sleeve then I am 100% in.
