Following on from support shows with Peking Duk, PNAU, Cosmo’s Midnight and Joy Anonymous (UK), as well as heading to NZ’s Rhythm & Vines NYE / NYD Festival, Sydney duo Hellcat Speedracer are showing no signs of slowing down whatsoever with the release of their new EP ‘Melomaniac 002’.
In true Hellcat Speedracer fashion, this new four-track EP hits incredibly hard with its swiftness on display from the word go through tight-nit percussion setting the tone from the ground floor. From here, we see the usage of thrilling synths and basses that elevate the productions to incredible heights and in doing so transfer an addictive sense of euphoria which you just know will pop off in the live/festival setting.
