BIGSOUND 2025 is creeping up on us, and the September edition sees the return of its celebrated Goolwal Goolwal program, a showcase of Indigenous music, culture, and creativity in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley. Goolwal Goolwal offers a dedicated space for First Nations voices through powerful panels, workshops, performances, and cultural experiences.
This year’s program opens with a BIGSOUND Eve Welcome Event on 1 September, and features key moments such as Now And Forever: BIGSOUND Edition by Bad Apples Music, a keynote with BRIGGS and Kobie Dee, and thought-provoking panels led by BARKAA. Live music will fill the Brunswick Street Mall stage, with showcases from Awesome Black and The Block Party Connect: From Boorloo to Meanjin (FNFOCUS & FLEWNT).
