“I feel like change is just so intrinsic to human nature. We try to stop it, but we know we can’t, after all. And I feel like stripping the artists of their own natural need to change, by trying to convey their output into a known path in hopes that they reach good numbers or some sort of notoriety is so unnatural that it’s obvious it’s just going to cause damage” says camoufly.“
Personally, most of the time my ideas start from a title, which is a kind of backwards concept for musicians like me if you think about it. That was the case here, too. I imagined my first album would be called NEW SKIN, and from there, I figured out what it meant.
