Canadian producer THREESIXTY has evoked a nostalgically-fuelled release that packs in some serious grit throughout its journey titled ‘Pronto’, a vibrant offering that evokes hints of funk and disco across a enlightening soundscape.
‘Pronto’ invites us into its warm and welcoming world with some gentle synth-driven goodness in the initial stages, right before the groove forces its way through and smashes through your speakers with its sheer determination. With the synth bass line injecting a hefty amount of flavour into the centre of the mix, this is met with crispy percussion and brightened synths that provides a plethora of depth in production whilst shifting the whole dynamic into overdrive.
“Pronto came about as a bassline and melody I had in my head for about 4 years, but I never
wrote anything down for it until recently.. I didn’t know how to go about making a full thing of
it back then. The timing of it coming together was perfect, it captures how I felt with all my
