Late June – ‘i’d say anything to comfort you’

After a mammoth 2024 which saw the release of a new album ‘Mending’, as well as performances at Mystery Festival and Famous Last Words in Auckland, New Zealand-based producer Late June is picking up where he left off with the release of a brand new single ‘i’d say anything to comfort you’, the first release as part of a newly signed partnership with DRM/The Orchard.

‘i’d say anything to comfort you’ evokes a vibrancy from the word go, with a commanding percussive presence driving the march forward amongst some bright synths and energetic vocals that intertwine with one another to create a joyful listening experience throughout the whole journey.

‘I wrote this track about the idea of being in a relationship early and misrepresenting yourself in the hype and build up of an early love by saying things you don’t necessarily mean to comfort someone you love.’ – Late June
