Malcolm Todd – Bleed (feat. Omar Apollo)

Multi-instrumentalist Malcolm Todd and Omar Apollo have joined forces to dish up a groovy number titled ‘Bleed’, a new glimpse of Todd’s recently announced debut self-titled album due April 4th via Columbia Records.

‘Bleed’ has a lovely laid-back feel towards its groove, with the crunchy percussion setting the tone amongst the shiny guitars that serve up a luscious platform for those charismatic vocals to take centre stage and command our attention. Depicting a tale of the complexities within relationship, both artists find a way to contrast this emotionally-fuelled narrative with an uplifting soundscape that is sure to strike a chord with all within its path.

“‘Bleed’ started with the idea of making a song purely to dance to. I had never really tried to do that before. It was sort of a joke at first. The more we worked on the song the more the idea made sense. It just got better and better. Now it’s one of my favorite songs on my upcoming album.” – Malcolm Todd
