Australian producer/DJ Young Franco has been very busy over the last few months with a string of great new singles while also making promise of something bigger headed our way, and today that something has arrived.
Young Franco is giving us his long-awaited debut album “it’s Franky baby!”, featuring a generous ten-track collection of funky, housey, dance-inspired songs that are going to get you moving. There’s a huge cast of guest collaborators including Franc Moody, Denzel Curry, Pell, Earthgang, Jafunk, piri, Dana Williams and Muroki just to name a few, and as if that wasn’t enough to get us going he’s also announcing an Australian headline tour that will be taking pace throughout February/March (dates/tickets here).
Young Franco describes the album as “a reflection of everything and everyone that has shaped me – my influences, my friends, and the artists I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with. It blends the sounds and voices that inspire me, capturing the energy of the people I love and the creative journey we’ve shared. It’s a mix of the many genres I’m drawn to, fusing into one big pan.
