Another year has passed us and boy oh boy the music quality has increased significantly across 2024! On a personal level, I think my music taste has expanded more this year than ever before, with my eclectic nature of genres growing at a mammoth rate with plenty of artists pushing the boundaries within contemporary music and that leading into some seriously awesome tunes throughout the year.
When compiling this list, it was a great time to reflect on what a great year this was personally, and in doing this remembering the tunes that struck a chord with significant moments within that timeframe.
Honourable mentions go to my management artists I worked with this year that released bodies of work, that being Late June’s superb album ‘Mending’ that dropped a few weeks ago. Some other real treats this year from Australian-based acts such as 1tbsp and Breakfast Road were also a great joy to listen to that everyone should have on their rotation across summer.
