Fresh off the release of ‘bloom’ a few months ago, Irish electronic musician and producer FOZSA continues to impress us with high quality electronic music with a jubilant offering titled ‘owls’ that provides a welcomed uplift across its duration.
‘owls’ centres itself around an off-kilter groove held in the percussion that is further accentuated by the energetic synths compiled that in tandem with the sparse vocal samples achieves an upbeat yet vibrant nature across its duration that is extremely appealing and eye-catching throughout.
“fabric began in Dublin and followed me as I moved to Barcelona halfway through the writing process. Although not a exactly concept album, the writing process became a way to express the melancholy I felt moving away from friends, family, and home. Through building these songs, It let me to explore my sense of belonging, to both places and people’. – fozsa
