Danish artist Dillistone has culminated a captivating blend of gripping electronica that has led to the highly-anticipated release of his new EP ‘Hedonism’, a six-track release that carefully balances the tightrope between groove and tranquility within its duration.
‘Hedonism’ sees Dillistone utilise a more darkened colour palate that utilises a deep house influence that lures us in from the outset and keeps us highly engaged throughout its journey with brooding foundations set from the beats and bass that is further intensified by the soaring synths and atmospheric vocals. With these soaring elements providing plenty of energy, Dillistone manages to build a stunning narrative throughout his individual offerings whereby the intensity levels pull in and out to keep us on the edge of our seats, as well as provide a well-rounded approach to his compositions.
“I guess that was that, a little end of an era and what a beautiful way to go. my ep hedonism is out today, it’s a collection of the last year and a bit and a very strange time in my life where i fully committed to bringing my music home to Denmark. I’ve stood on huge stages and had you scream the lyrics back at me so hard I could feel it in my chest, I’ve walked into a sold out venue full of amazing people who only came to see me. My parents FaceTime me when they play me on the radio.” – Dillistone (via Instagram)
