‘Break Me Down’ sees Yukimi team up with Little Dragon member Erik Bodin (who also plays on the tune), which sees an utterly captivating soundscape on offer with a rawness held in the instrumentation courtesy of the brittle percussion and sublime bass line setting the tone in the backdrop all while the soaring keys and synths intensify the mix to incredible heights. With Yukimi‘s vocals melting through the production like butter, ‘Break Me Down’ gives each element plenty of room to shine for what is a truly impressive debut offering.
