Warped synths open the track before breaking into a chorus filled with layered vocals, a hard-hitting beat, and pop elements that swing seamlessly alongside light percussion. There are two distinct presences on the track, which enhances the longing and emotional depth of the lyrics. ‘Shelter’ is an incredible track with both an infectious melody, and poignant lyrics that really pull the heartstrings.
