Australian born Los Angeles-based artist & producer Kito showcases a wide range of influence and uplift across her brand new EP ‘BIMYOU’, a four-track EP out now via Mad Decent that sees a world-class output through a polished production base that packs in plenty of heat and energy throughout its journey.

Along for the ride of ‘BIMYOU’ are some seriously impressive artists on collaborative duties such as Kah-Lo, Brazy, Baauer, Wafia, Nonso Amadi, St. Panther and Beau Nox that add their own individual brilliance to what is the perfect platform for Kito to showcase her ever-growing artillery as an artist. ‘BIMYOU’ creates varying levels of vibrancy across each of the individual tracks on offer, with moments of exhilarating swiftness balanced out with a more-laid back approach to the groove at hand to achieve a well-rounded output that has something for just about every electronic taste palate.

“I have a tendency to hold on to words and names that inspire me and BIMYOU is probably one I’ve had an infatuation with for the longest. I actually had the cover artwork designed by a friend in 2016 knowing I wanted to do a project called “BIMYOU” one day. It’s a Japanese word that literally translates to “subtle” but implies that “something is a little off, and it might be better to just do without it altogether”. This EP has largely been about subtracting the stuff I felt came from a place of overthinking, and keeping the bits that felt a little “off” – in a good way. I’m really proud of this EP and am so grateful to all the artists that collaborated with me on it – couldn’t have wished for a better lineup!” – Kito
