‘Easy for Me’ achieves an effortlessness within its composition through the sublime nature of the instrumentation on offer, whether that be the charismatic bass line or guitars, or the uplifting groove held in the percussion that sets up a strengthened foundation for those breezy vocals to shine across the top of the mix.
“About 2 years ago I created the first demo for the song. I really liked the song idea, but it just didn’t sound right or like what I had envisioned. The demo laid dormant for a while until I started co-writing with my friend Kleio. After trying a couple other ideas, I wondered what her voice would sound like on this demo. Sure enough, her vocals were the exact thing that the song was missing. Kleio sang the hook and wrote/recorded a 2nd verse in one sitting. It instantly elevated the track, and made it feel fresh & inspired. Afterward, the final production & mix came very quickly & naturally.” – Charles Rojas
