“We went to the studio which was underground in an old stone Haussmann building and felt like maybe it could be haunted. On went the laptop… out came the drum sounds. The hi-hats were fast, the vibes were turbo… but where was it going? Nobody knew. Thibaud (Boston Bun) started flipping through what seemed like an endless. Rolodex of acapellas he had lying around on his laptop. We started to chop it up and worked it into a short repeatable hook. It felt like magic was in the works.
