Following on from a feature collaboration with Powfu on the track ‘stairs of stars’, New Zealand-based producer Late June returns yet again with another sonic odyssey in the form of new single ‘Fragments’.
‘Fragments’ is the perfect amalgamation of Late June’s trademark chilled/electronic roots and the deep house influence that has been a staple of his most recent work. With atmospheric pads and keys setting the soothing soundscape intact, Late June provides plenty of groove with a deepened four to the floor styled percussive groove that rounds out to be the perfect blend of contemplation and uplift throughout.
