Trinidadian-born / Sydney-based artist Gold Fang has ascended to mammoth heights throughout 2024 with a string of impressive singles, and this trend continues this week with another brand new release in ‘OTW’ – a superb cut of afrobeat-inspired grooves that’ll leave a mark on you immediately.
‘OTW’ lures you in from the outset with mystery through alluring pads and subtle percussion setting the tone right before the flowing melodies take centre stage and command your attention. Gold Fang utilises the groove created in the reggae-inspired percussion and creates a one-two punch countering the flow with his powerful vocals, and once combined with the harmonies stands incredibly tall.
