It is well and truly BAYNK season, with the New Zealand-born, LA-based electronic artist and producer continuing to provide his loyal fanbase with a plethora of new music with the latest instalment being two new tracks in ‘Feel’ and ‘Blood’ that continue to display the ever-growing skillset of the artist.
‘Feel’ has that anthemic nature to it, immediately cementing that vocal hook into your brain with its hypnotic nature. This addictiveness continues with the playful groove on offer in the percussion, the rolling bass line as well as the synths piercing through the mix that collectively provides a considerable amount of energy within the vibrant soundscape created. This tempo shifts a touch in ‘Blood’, with a more laid-back style groove on offer that sees those gentle vocals sit atop of the crashing drums and divine keys which results in a stunning mix overall.
