It’s been quite some time since we had new music from Childish Gambino, and in true fashion he has surprised the world yet again with a surprise new album ‘Atavista’, which follows on from the initial surprise news of ‘The New World Tour’ announcement that’ll see him crossing the globe from the later part of 2024 into 2025.
Featuring collaborations with the likes of Ariana Grande, 21 Savage, Summer Walker, Young Nudy and more, the 11-track record sees Gambino continues to push the boundaries of modern music yet again with a cross-genre influence spread right across the track listing which truly showcases his artistry at an pristine level. ‘Atavista’ sees various levels of energy and colour unearthed, in which the powerful instrumentation compiled in each individual soundscape works in tandem with the captivating vocals to leave listeners in awe with such a well rounded release.
