Yaeji - 'easy breezy'

Yaeji has a very cool new song for us this week called ‘easy breezy’ which she says feels like a sequel that weaves a thread through her past releases and my past selves. It is somewhat of a tribute to her memories of discovering herself as a musician as she explored the worlds of bossa nova, drum&bass, and house music. It also comes with a super fun and playfully cute self-directed music video.

Sonically, the song connects a thread between me now and me back in middle school —when I discovered bossa nova, drum and bass, and house through Korean and Japanese pop electronica.
