Following on from their glimpses they’ve given listeners over the past few months, Australian duo Lamalo are going out in style with the full release of their album ‘The Planets’, a nine-track release that pushes the boundaries of conventional music with a fusing of various different realms that meld together with absolute ease.

In their trademark style that we’ve come to know and love over the last 7 or so years, Lamalo take us on a sonic odyssey that intertwines organic and electronic instrumentation together and transports us into their own unique world of groove and wonder. With invigorating synths and uplifting beats, coupled with bright and sparkling guitars, Lamalo provide a significant amount of depth in each of their individual mixes on offer and showcase all the tricks in their artillery for an artistic delight.

“The Planets is the work we are most proud of. This album really captures the Lamalo essence of progressive beats, organic sounds and celestial synths. It also serves as a metaphor for our own journey through the music industry, starting out light, fun and naive with Mercury and crashing and burning with one of our favourite tracks ever, Pluto.” – Lamalo
