Alt-pop electronic act Fig Tape returns in quick succession with another cracking new single in ‘Apollo’, a progressive offering filled with tantalising synths and gentle melodies that all together produces a release with plenty of groove to go around.

‘Apollo’ delves deeper and deeper into a house influence the more we listen in, with a lively and energetic groove held in the percussion that becomes a catalyst in the overall scheme of things. With buoyant synth chords working in tandem with the captivating vocals and playing off of each other, ‘Apollo’ ensures a club feel is maintained throughout the duration of the release and as such gives punters plenty of reasons to get amongst the uplift on offer.

‘’The whole scene is very fan of faster songs these days. Everything is pitched up and sped up. I have nothing against that – I have always been a fan of high paced songs. Although ‘’Apollo’’ isn’t super fast, I had a great time making some proper house music again. I feel like clubbier songs are taking over these days, and I am here for it.’’ – Fig Tape
