If you’re like me, you’d be having a lot of envy at all those people enjoying the European summer across your socials. But lucky for us, we have a treat that can transport us into those settings courtesy of Vhyce and his thumping new single ‘Out Of The Blue’ via his own label Saint Vaast Recordings that delves into a sythesizer-led dimension that evokes plenty of nostalgia throughout its duration.
‘Out Of The Blue’ showcases a significant amount of depth within its production, whether that be from the pristine polish lathered across the soundscape or when we break it down further and notice the layers upon layers of synths and pads that create a thick and powerful wall of sound amongst the smashing beats and bass line that rounds out for a profound sonic odyssey.
“Out Of The Blue is the first release on my label Saint Vaast Recordings. Saint Vaast is a reference to the city where I live and make music. I’ve been wanting to launch my own label for quite some time now and I thought that track would be great to start with as it is combining lots of the stuff I love. Korg M1 piano riff, various « real » organic percussions and strangely pitched vocals. A bit dreamy, a bit bittersweet but still a summer-y hedonistic track meant for the clubs. And I’m also very much looking forward for you to hear the remixes coming in the next months.” – Vhyce
