Here’s a little something for emerging artists in and around Sydney!
The Star Sydney’s Rock Lily venue is teaming up with Sailor Jerry to launch its first-ever “Battle of the Bands” competition, and they have a very enticing prize up for grabs!
The winner will score exclusive studio time at one of Australia’s most iconic recording spaces, Studio 301 (who have hosted likes of Amy Shark, Guy Sebastian, Tash Sultana, ILLY, Jimmy Barnes and The Chainsmokers), which includes recording, mixing & mastering valued at over $4.5k.
***plus all selected finalists will receive a Sailor Jerry merch pack worth $200.
The judges seats will be filled by experts from across the Australian music scene;
• Poppy Reid – Editor-in-Chief at the prestigious music publication, Rolling Stone Australia
• Alexander “Captain” Franco – Senior Director of A&R at Sony Music and Artist Manager
• Sydney alt-rap group, Triple One – best known for their certified Gold single “Butter”
