Back in June Gorillaz gave us a very cool new track called ‘Cracker Island’ featuring legendary bassist Thundercat, while also building some anticipation with us in the hopes that we’d be hearing more new new music coming from them soon.
They’ve released another new single today called ‘New Gold’ which features the vocal stylings of Tame Impala and Bootie Brown, and holy crap this song is such a vibe. On top of that they’ve also revealed they have a whole new 10-track album in the works (totally saw that coming) called “Cracker Island” which is set for release in February (preorder here) and is said to feature a few other impressive collabs with the likes of Stevie Nicks, Bad Bunny, Beck and Adeleye Omotayo.
