MY PLAYLIST is a series where we ask some of our favourite artists to share some of their favourite songs, and while it may give us a bit of insight into some of their influences, we’re actually more interested to know what they enjoy listening to when they’re not making music.
Over the last few months Amsterdam-based Aussie crew Tora have given us a few new singles which also came with news that their next album “A Force Majeure” will be hitting the shelves in September, so we thought this would the perfect time to check-in and see what tunes they’ve been vibing lately.

“While there’s no specific mood for this playlist, I feel many of these songs give you that tingling feeling. It’s up and down, it’s a list of my favourites from the last couple months, and some long time standouts. house, breaks, classical, ambient, hip hop, RnB, disco, folk. Something for everyone here. We hope you find something that makes you feel tingly.” – Jai Piccone

Tora do also have a new single for us this week called ‘Inundated’ which it is just another small taste of what we can expect from this new album – check that out below!
“This song is about being absolutely infatuated by somebody, whilst simultaneously being afraid that they are stringing you along, leading you to believe a false reality, it’s about being afraid to fully trust somebody because they make you feel so good that you fear how much power they wield over you'” – Jo Loewenthal
