With news of a remix album on its way in May titled ‘Apple vs 7G’, A. G. Cook teams up with one of music’s biggest names in Charli XCX for a futuristic banger in ‘Xcxoplex’ that provides a hefty amount of fire and drive in its short yet impactful duration.
In this re-work of the 2020-released original, Charli XCX utilises her powerful vocals to add a buoyant pop edge to the soundscape whilst the force of the original audio remains in tact. Cook works in partnership with XCX to intertwine the synth-driven instrumentation with her playful melodies that meld into each other without a moment of over-complication.
