The next instalment from the rap collective 88 Rising is on its way, and they’ve brought forth one of the first glimpses of the highly anticipated ‘Head in the Clouds 3’ collaboration album through Indonesian rapper, singer and producer Warren Hue‘s new single ‘Too Many Tears’, a snappy and crisp offering with luscious melodies and energetic instrumentation.
‘Too Many Tears’ delivers an abrupt bass line that injects plenty of vigour and grunt into the soundscape, and compliments the free-flowing melodies that results in a commanding performance across all corners of the mix. With eccentric beats playfully bouncing around, Warren Hue allows for a commanding sound palate that allows both groove and power to be exhibited across the concise 2 and a half minute duration.
“Too Many Tears is an emotional song that reflects on the dreams that I have. It covers the reality of chasing dreams and how people can treat you along the way. The unique production and beat structure from Jacob Ray adds an experimental feel to the song, which inspired me in the creative process.” – Warren Hue
