Over the years BARDZ has become synonymous with hard-hitting and buzzing electronic music that injects a healthy dose of energy into your system, and in the case of his brand new EP ‘BURN BRIGHT’ we become witness to some of the most energetic and powerful offerings going around.
Featuring previous releases in ‘Concrete Jungle’ and ‘Save Myself’, ‘BURN BRIGHT’ leads us in with two previously unheard tracks that set the high levels of intensification in place for the duration of the EP. BARDZ brings forth all of his production techniques to provide a wall of sound in the form of smashing synths and blistering bass that smacks you across the face with its ferocity, all while vocalist Dan Turley utilises his stunning melodies to transfer across the emotional messaging held in the lyrics.
“This EP is about feeling stagnant in your life (creative endeavours) and longing to find that spark again. You move to the heart of it all (LA) thinking it will solve all your problems. You realise the people you meet aren’t on your side and stab you in the back, as the city slowly eats you alive. After enough time there, you begin to lose sight of why you came, and who you used to be. Enough days and nights of running with the wrong crowds and filling the void, you decide it’s time to save yourself.” – BARDZ
