Rising alternative/pop producer sonn has teamed up with New Zealand talent lontalius for a warm and uplifting new collaboration titled ‘rumours’, which is the first glimpse of sonn’s forthcoming EP ‘Something Safe’ on Indie Pop.
From the word go, ‘rumours’ basks itself in a warm setting with inviting pads creating the sunny visual landscape within our heads before the floating melodies of lontalius stand on top of the mix. Sonn utilises the richness of the keys as a centre point of the instrumentation, whilst implementing a subtle groove into the piece through the crisp beats on offer that achieves the lo-fi texture perfectly.
