In these uncertain times, we are in desperate need of some good vibes and grooves and we’ve got just that in the form of Canadian producer Pat Lok‘s first glimpse of his upcoming EP through new single ‘Freefall’ which sees him team up with Australia’s own Thandi Phoenix.
From the word go, ‘Freefall’ delivers a contagious groove in the lively drums that melds together with some alluring synths to achieve a high level of intrigue immediately. This sets the scene for Phoenix’s mesmerising melodies that melt like butter across the mix, achieving a playfulness with their buoyant pace atop of Lok’s colourful and club-inspired composition – resulting in an infectious chorus that you instantly become lost within.
