SAFIA – ‘Think We’re Not Alone’

SAFIA are well on truly on their way to dominance for 2019, with news of their sophomore album ‘Story’s Start or End’ dropping in August and a HUGE Australian/New Zealand tour to follow. To celebrate this, the three piece have delivered a darkened thriller of a track with their new single ‘Think We’re Not Alone’. 

One thing that SAFIA have always managed to do in every single release is showcase the incredible shades of colour in Ben Woolner’s tones. In ‘Think We’re Not Alone’, the haunting nature of the piece is matched through the fragility in the echoed vocals that heightens the intensity significantly. Complimented further by the ambient pads, club influenced drums and buzzing synths on offer, ‘Think We’re Not Alone’ evokes visual imagery of a haunted forest courtesy of the samples of birds and lions roaring and lures you in for the ride of your life.
