We’re getting the weekend off to an awesome start with the premiere of this sic new party tune from Canadian dance lords Rainer + Grimm.
It’s called ‘Be Your Girl’ and it has one of those infectious grooves that just makes you want to move, and move you shall as you lose yourself in its warm hypnotic glow.
“There’s actually a pretty funny back story to this one. It was started by a drunken group of us, backstage in our trailer at Dreams Festival a couple years ago – a complete parody, an inside joke amongst friends.
Fast forward a few weeks, one of our friends sent us a voice note with more lyrics. After Rainer cut out all of the comedy, we realized we had some pretty dope melodies, and it became the “Be Your Girl” that you hear now.” – Rainer + Grimm
