Joe Turner – ‘Retina’ / ‘Stay’

South London multi-instrumentalist and producer Joe Turner follows up the release of his debut single ‘Atmosphere’ earlier this year with a new, double side offering of ‘Retina’ and ‘Stay’ out now via Jamz Supernova’s record label Future Bounce.

This double side offering showcases an intriguing contrast full of colour that truly represents the artillery of skills from Turner. ‘Retina’ centres itself on a brooding, darkened soundscape with heavy emphasis on the arpeggiated synths and repeated, hypnotic influence of the vocals. Meanwhile in ‘Stay’ sets its sights on achieving a warm and lush colour palate throughout its duration whilst maintaining an upbeat tempo perfect for contemplation and reflection.
