Within ‘(The) Evening’, we see ford. build upon his trademark upbeat groove in the percussion coupled with ambient pads and synths that achieve a unique cohesion that centres around a laid back feeling in the production. Showcasing significant colour and vibrancy in his compositions, ford. highlights a sense of maturity as the album progresses with a crisp, clean edge becoming more and more apparent early on in this young producers career.
