In what was a humungous 2017 which included feature sets at Groovin The Moo, as well as the releases of smash hits ‘Either Way’ and ‘Don’t Leave’, British electronic duo Snakehips continue to go from strength to strength with the video release of the 80s throwback ‘Cruzin’, which enlists St Rulez on the vocals.
The video, which is part-1 of a soundtrack to a 3-part short picture, sets place in Los Angeles all based around a middle-aged character named Sue travelling around with her friend. But before we even meet Sue, we are introduced to a young couple arguing in the middle of the street in hilarious circumstances. The fight between the couple is surrounded around the boyfriend forgetting his partner’s birthday, whereby the girlfriend is unleashing wrath on him in broad daylight. It is after this chaos we meet Sue, bypassing the chaos between the couple and crossing the road to her automobile.
In this video, Snakehips have cleverly provided snippets of what lies ahead, with visions flashing in and out of what may lie ahead in the additional 2 parts. What leaves us more intrigued is the ending, whereby Sue starts the car through hot-wiring it. At this point, there seem to be many questions that require answers, so we can’t wait for the next instalment from the British duo!
