UK artist Bearcubs has just released his debut album ‘Ultraviolet’, and holy crap it is so good. There’s no denying this man sounds a lot like James Blake, but for me it isn’t in a mimicking way, but more of an “inspired by” kinda way as he creates these seamless cuts of lush atmospheric electronica, and then layering them with his deep, crooning, pants tightening vocal sounds.
