I found this little gem in the ‘New Music Friday‘ playlist on Spotify this weekend and was well impressed by this guy’s vibe and sound.
‘Huffing Paint’ is the latest single from Chicago artist Frank Leone, a chilled, percussion-based/trap-influenced track that floats along with a warm playful presence as Frank’s soothing vocal sounds tell a very sad story of a good friend that took his own life. This song does mess with the emotions a bit, but no matter how you listen to this song, it is an absolute beauty.
