“I’ve always had the idea of filming something fast-paced and energetic, so I hit up my friend Simon who I knew raced his car for fun at various tracks around Australia. One early morning around 3:30am I followed him to a track and entered this pure Australian world of rev-heads that I didn’t know a thing about. Even though I had a couple blokes try to talk to me about pistons and oil or something and I just went along with it like I knew what I was talking about. It was quite a challenge for me filming this and sticking it together but I think it turned out great. Simon was a champ and killed it on the track that day too, beating his personal record!” – Airwolf
