Back in August Australian producer cln shared a very awesome track with us called ‘Switch Gears’ which featured the vocal-rap work of rising artist pseudo, and lucky for us cln is back this week with a glorious new tune that is going to turn some heads.
‘The Other Side’ is being released in collaboration with French tastemakers Kitsuné, and it just may be one of his best release yet as he continues to explore the boundaries of his sound.
“I’ve been making a fairly broad range of music, and initially when I wrote this song I didn’t want to release it because it didn’t sound that much like ‘me’. It has come to grow on me though; I think it’s probably one of the better vocal parts I’ve written. I’d rather make what comes naturally than put myself into a box. That way I have more freedom and can be more honest.” – cln
There’s no doubt cln is an impressively talented producer, but since he stepped away from just being a producer when he began singing back in 2015 on hi ep ‘Found’, cln has really honed in on refining his sound, solidifying himself as a formidable triple-threat; singer, songwriter & producer
