Aaron Childs – My Way EP [Review]

Unless you’re a creeper on SoundCloud and stumbled across an artist called Aaron Childs six months ago, you never would have heard of him. Literally. He is as fresh as they come and the music he brings with him is that feel-good, soulful funk.

This five-track EP establishes Childs as an artist who’s got what it takes to become a major player in the music biz. His music is reminiscent of the good ol’ days when brass instruments and smooth R&B productions were making their way to the forefront. Produced by Peter Lee Johnson is an EP that reveals quality music most certainly does not go unnoticed.

In 2017, this is the kind of music you long for; to take you away to another world, to get you dreaming and get you grooving. There’s nothing but good vibes as the EP opens with the title track and flows beautifully until the closing song ‘Good Times’.

If you want an easy listening 15 minutes, then let this be exactly what the doctor prescribed. It would also make for some very good baby making music; think about it.

Aaron Childs is one to keep an eye on and I for one am extremely grateful that classics are still being made.
