If you missed the news last Friday, the Gorillaz announced they’ll be releasing a brand new album next month called ‘Humanz’ (their first record in nearly seven years) while also sharing FOUR of its tracks with accompanying animated videos.
The new album will play host to an eclectic roster of collaborators including the first four-trackers; Popcaan on ‘Saturnz Barz’, Big Baby D.R.A.M. on ‘Andromeda’, Vince Staples on ‘Ascension’ and Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher providing back-up vox on ‘We Got The Power’, alongside Jehnny Beth’s vocal-lead.
Also appearing on the album among a huge cast of guests we’ll find De La Soul, Danny Brown, Pusha T and wait for it….mother-flipping Grace Jones!
So you best mark April 28th in your calendar for the release of ‘Humanz’ via Warner Bros.
