UK up-and-comers SWIMS has revealed a new slow-moving tune called ‘Lovers Like You’, which has the kind of smooth, seductive, electro/R&B/pop sound that will have you wanting more each time it ends.
“Lovers Like You’ is a break up song wrapped in a love song, that encompasses every high and low of a relationship. The song at first sounds like it’s about sex and worshipping someone, but has a flip side where the same lyrics are transformed into fights, control and breaking up. The chorus however is about not being able to let go of this person and hoping that you’ll find a lover like them.” – SWIMS
