Yuksek’s record label Partyfine will be releasing their next compilation album later this week called ‘Partyfine Vol.3’, and today we have the privilege of premiering one of its fantastic tracks; ‘Plage D’or’ by Jean Tonique.
The Parisian disco-dealer draws deep from his love-pit of 70/80’s funk, then blends in elements of hip-hop and house before layering the track with the sexy-as-funk French-speaking vocals courtesy of himself and Bleu Platine – it’s also the first preview of a new three-track ep he has on the way
You can find Jean Tonique’s ‘Plage D’or’ on ‘Partyfine Vol.3’ this Friday through Partyfine Records, alongside a bunch of other great acts including Clarens, VILLA, Weekend Affair and Yuksek himself.
European fans can catch Jean Tonique around the country between now and December as he hits the road for a string of live shows.
