A few weeks ago I was sent this new single from a group out of Melbourne called Young Poets, and while indie-rock isn’t usually at the forefront of my personal tastes, I found this particular track had a certain something that had me going back for more.
That track is called ‘So Ashamed’ and I am happy to be premiering the video for Young Poets today. Its thumping drums, melodic guitar riffs and rolling bass carry front-man TJ Alcaniz’s voice so perfectly well as he tells us their story of betrayal and shame with an obvious heartfelt emotion.
