Just a few months ago we introduced you to a new house project out of Sydney called LJ Hawk, which came with very little information about the man behind it, but his debut track ‘Love on the Pyrmont Bridge’ made us forget all about that kind of stuff entirely.
LJ Hawk is back this week with a brand new summery tune called ‘High’, which features the lush voice of a Sydney-based soul/R&B/jazz singer known as Ash, and while there’s still an air of mystery around the man himself, he continues his exploration through soft dreamy house beats, smouldering synths and deep bass atmospherics, as Ash carries us away with her sweet soulful words.
‘High’ will be seeing its release on September 2nd but for a limited time you can score a free download through Sunstroke Recordings.
