Sydney’s FBi Radio have just announced the return of the ‘Northern Lights’ competition for 2016!
The winning act is flown to Iceland to perform as part of the Iceland Airwaves Festival in Reykjavik which takes place between November 2nd to 6th, as they join the official lineup of other international artists including Einarindra, PJ Harvey, Warpaint and MúM just to name a very small few.
Entries are open from now until Friday August 5, so if you’re an up-and-coming solo artist/producer or a band from anywhere in Australia, you are invited to submit your music now!
Your fights and accommodation will of course also be covered, but one of the most exciting things on the winner’s menu is the chance to spend an entire day in Sigur Rós’s very own ‘Sundlaugin Studio’ – omg omg omg!
