This week Icelandic deities Sigur Rós embarked on a 24-hour live streaming tour around Iceland’s 1,332km coastal ring road, and out of this epic journey comes the band’s first official single since 2013’s ‘Kveikur’ recordings.
It’s called ‘Óveður’ (translation: Storms) and it is an absolutely stunning pice of music – as if you’d expect anything less from Sigur Rós really – and it also comes with an equally fascinating Jonas Åkerlund-directed music video which was shot in the small town of Grindavík on Iceland’s beautiful Reykjanes peninsular.
